Spectators: 7719 (Terracing: 5790, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) San Antonio FC's Roberto Navarro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. San Antonio FC's Freddy Bittor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Peru in the 4th minute of play. Ferdinand Poenaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Paulin in the 5th minute of play. Freddy Bittor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raul Moise in the 7th minute. Ferdinand Poenaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Montrel in the 12th minute of play. Raul Moise could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Freddy Bittor made a huge save. Raul Moise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportivo Desamparados's goalkeeper Ferdinand Poenaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 19 played minutes San Antonio FC got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio Ramalho. Santiago Peru hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ferdinand Poenaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Montrel in the 28th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Roberto Navarro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ferdinand Poenaru quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 32nd minute, Raul Moise got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raul Moise made a kick off. Alejo Oxel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Bittor having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Raul Moise left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Desamparados fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Anibal Montrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Poenaru having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Moise in the 69th minute of play forced San Antonio FC's goalkeeper Freddy Bittor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Bittor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Moise went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Moise in the 74th minute of play forced San Antonio FC's goalkeeper Freddy Bittor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Sportivo Desamparados's Raul Moise sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddy Bittor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute of the match Sportivo Desamparados got a corner. San Antonio FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leonides Lehoi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Raul Moise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferdinand Poenaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Navarro in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Justino Dayam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Sportivo Desamparados getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Leonides Lehoi hit a great ball. Sportivo Desamparados's Ferdinand Poenaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Desamparados from getting a goal against them. Anibal Montrel had several of the Sportivo Desamparados's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 90 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Ferdinand Poenaru as he didn't even see the shot coming. Raul Moise kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Sportivo Desamparados were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of San Antonio FC for a fine match.
