In the 5thth minute of the game Raul Moise who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maracanaso F.C's Enrique Heli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Sportivo Desamparados booed when Maracanaso F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Mirande didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maracanaso F.C's goalkeeper Enrique Heli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enrique Heli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Moise in the 11th minute of the match. Sportivo Desamparados's Robin Skålberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Desamparados from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the match, Sportivo Desamparados's Raul Moise sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Heli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Oxel in the 18th minute of play forced Maracanaso F.C's goalkeeper Enrique Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uriel Mirande kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Moise in the 24th minute of play forced Maracanaso F.C's goalkeeper Enrique Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Heli came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Desamparados's Raul Moise. But to his dismay, Raul Moise quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 28th minute, Maracanaso F.C's Enrico Lenci ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Robin Skålberg. Robin Skålberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 31st minute, Raul Moise left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Desamparados fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 37 minutes into the match, Maracanaso F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Moise came free, but Enrique Heli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Samuel charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Samuel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Desamparados's Valentin Samuel got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Lenci in the 42nd minute of play forced Sportivo Desamparados's goalkeeper Robin Skålberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Felix Ponc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Amadeo Domiku sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Robin Skålberg threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Amadeo Domiku this time. After taking down the ball on Maracanaso F.C's corner Amadeo Domiku fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Robin Skålberg quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Maracanaso F.C getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ramon Figueroa hit a great ball. After the first half Sportivo Desamparados were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raul Moise was the one to do the kick off. Uriel Mirande hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Moise got free with Enrique Heli in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, Sportivo Desamparados's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Lenci came free, but Robin Skålberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Desamparados's Julio Asier got a free kick in the 66th minute. Enrico Lenci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raul Moise kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 75thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Maracanaso F.C's keeper Enrique Heli was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Enrique Heli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Dayam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maracanaso F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hipolito Onbera was slow to take the kick. During this time Sportivo Desamparados's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Maracanaso F.C's goalie and right to Julio Asier. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Maracanaso F.C's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Enrique Heli was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Octavio Ospin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Octavio Ospin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Sportivo Desamparados's Raul Moise got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raul Moise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Heli having to interfere. Robin Skålberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teddi Gaafar in the 88th minute of the match. If Enrico Lenci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sportivo Desamparados's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
