When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Ciceron made a kick off. Freddy Bittor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Toney's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute Malvinas Argentinas were awarded a corner. Silvio Baleren went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Malvinas Argentinas's Silvio Baleren to fire away a dangerous shot which Freddy Bittor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
