In the 21st minute, Mauro Boselli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celedonio Lastur was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a little luck, Branca Fresh's Jerzy Sidorowicz got control of the ball when Ime Chabas tried to sneak it across the goal line. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 34th minute, but Jerzy Sidorowicz got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Branca Fresh hanging dry this time. A collision led to Yuquerí AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Makareus Picoulas hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Branca Fresh's Jerzy Sidorowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Makareus Picoulas in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57thth minute of the game Lino Torres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Branca Fresh's Jerzy Sidorowicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Branca Fresh made a substitution. Cristian Orti replaced Natalio Gonzales. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Branca Fresh's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lino Torres was slow to take the kick. During this time Yuquerí AFC's players had a chance to rest. Branca Fresh's Mario Colon got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yuquerí AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Mario Colon scored to the left of an out of position Celedonio Lastur, making the score, 0-3. Lino Torres hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 75 played minutes Branca Fresh got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Orti. Mauro Boselli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Rodrigo Cambranes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerzy Sidorowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Torres in the 87th minute of the match. Zvonimir Boban struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Jerzy Sidorowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yuquerí AFC. After 90 played minutes Branca Fresh got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Cambranes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Makareus Picoulas in the 91st minute of play forced Branca Fresh's goalkeeper Jerzy Sidorowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Yuquerí AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ksawery Skorny came free, but Celedonio Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Branca Fresh's corner Jorge Martxot fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Celedonio Lastur quite easily take care of the ball. The Branca Fresh supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Branca Fresh would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
