Pablo Socorro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Nick Shakespeare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Nala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Raulo came free, but Melquiades Leoiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Elias Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LA MERCED F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nala FC the free kick. After 14 played minutes LA MERCED F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Elias Medeiros. Fabio Tanio tried in the 19th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Pablo Socorro a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-0. Melquiades Leoiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrey Shevchenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nala FC's Melquiades Leoiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Raulo in the 26th minute of play. If Nicolas Sayvion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 33 played minutes Nala FC got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Perpinya. In the 35th minute, Mala Mucha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nicolas Sayvion came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Nala FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Sayvion couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Andrey Shevchenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dario Marzulli kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute of the match Ermegildo Raitin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pablo Socorro skillfully saved the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fermin Mino to strike the kick off in the second half. Pablo Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Sayvion in the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Sayvion in the 53rd minute of play forced LA MERCED F.C.'s goalkeeper Pablo Socorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Nala FC's goalkeeper Melquiades Leoiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basilio Raulo. Nicolas Sayvion took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Socorro. Pablo Socorro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The supporters of Nala FC booed when LA MERCED F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Mino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 played minutes Nala FC got a freekick which was hit by Pelle Pelle. 63 minutes into the match, Nicolas Sayvion had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pablo Socorro. LA MERCED F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolas Sayvion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Mino in the 66th minute of play forced Nala FC's goalkeeper Melquiades Leoiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Sayvion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 74 minutes into the match, Nicolas Sayvion had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pablo Socorro. LA MERCED F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolas Sayvion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Pablo Socorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Maura in the 81st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Vladimiro Baraquiel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Melquiades Leoiar. That made the score 6-2 in the 85 minute of play. In the 90th minute Basilio Raulo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Leoiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Nicolas Sayvion left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nala FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Nala FC had won after a very even match.
