The audience thought a goal was coming when Basilio Raulo got free with Emanuel Dantae in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vladimiro Baraquiel in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Dantae prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 60 minutes into the match, Lechuguitas F.C.'s goalkeeper Emanuel Dantae had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basilio Raulo. Pablo Socorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Mikelar in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Santiago in the 93rd minute of play forced LA MERCED F.C.'s goalkeeper Pablo Socorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Lechuguitas F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching LA MERCED F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for LA MERCED F.C..
