In the 16th minute Babür Kongurtay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Dunixi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio Torrecillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Illan, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Illan in the 29th minute of play forced Defensores de Belén's goalkeeper Caio Torrecillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 31 in the game by Babür Kongurtay from a close distance when the talented Carolo Dunixi managed to make a qualified save. Zodiaco Star F.C.'s players were relieved. Defensores de Belén's Caio Torrecillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eberhard Kühlem in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Babür Kongurtay made a kick off. If Babür Kongurtay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carolo Dunixi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babür Kongurtay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmar Eztebe in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caio Torrecillas saved Defensores de Belén from getting behind. Defensores de Belén's Caio Torrecillas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Defensores de Belén from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Defensores de Belén's Caio Torrecillas got control of the ball when Eberhard Kühlem tried to sneak it across the goal line. Caio Torrecillas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Everardo Illan in the 71st minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
