Melquiades Mambru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Rius in the 9th minute. With a little luck, MORPH's Melquiades Mambru got control of the ball when Saul Rius tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauricio Sabino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steffe Lenaerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauricio Sabino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steffe Lenaerts's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Melquiades Mambru made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Saul Rius sent off a good shot on target. When MORPH's Steffe Lenaerts in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Martìn's goalie prevented a goal. Melquiades Mambru made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Saul Rius sent off a good shot on target. Paul Nanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Melquiades Mambru made a huge save. The supporters of MORPH booed when San Martìn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betão Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 played minutes San Martìn got a freekick which was hit by Paul Nanu. Steffe Lenaerts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th match minute, MORPH was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Esquipula to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amancio Luken made a kick off. After 54 minutes San Martìn's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ambrosio Estevez who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of San Martìn booed when MORPH was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Gil didn't get a good kick on the ball. MORPH's Gervasio Phelipe was substituted for Emiliano Berdaitz. Ivan Gil hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Steffe Lenaerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mauricio Sabino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MORPH's Orlando Lopez was substituted for Apolo Rios. In the 72nd match minute, San Martìn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dariusz Rekowski to maneuver through the defense. San Martìn made a substitution. Niceto Gomez replaced Betão Leite. After a rather tough play, San Martìn's Dariusz Rekowski got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steffe Lenaerts got free with Mauricio Sabino in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, San Martìn's goal looked a bit too open when Steffe Lenaerts came free, but Mauricio Sabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in San Martìn's zone, Steffe Lenaerts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Sabino came out of the goal and Steffe Lenaerts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind San Martìn's goalkeeper Mauricio Sabino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mauricio Sabino made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Steffe Lenaerts sent off a good shot on target. A nice corner shot did that Saul Rius got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Melquiades Mambru quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
