Steffe Lenaerts started the match with the kick off. Eulalio Bastian made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Steffe Lenaerts sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steffe Lenaerts in the 11th minute of play forced Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Eulalio Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eulalio Bastian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steffe Lenaerts's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Eulalio Bastian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Berdaitz in the 20th minute of the match. MORPH were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Deportivo Mandiyu's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ambrosio Estevez took the corner. Eulalio Bastian was a little too slow when Steffe Lenaerts got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. Eulalio Bastian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Elia in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseo Pasqual in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Mambru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the MORPH defense, Eliseo Pasqual kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melquiades Mambru. The MORPH fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melquiades Mambru should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the game, Deportivo Mandiyu's Eliseo Pasqual nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melquiades Mambru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Jonas Koldobika charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Koldobika the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Deportivo Mandiyu getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jonas Koldobika hit a great ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Adolfo Elia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MORPH's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Elia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliseo Pasqual to make the kick off. MORPH's Gervasio Phelipe was substituted for Emiliano Berdaitz. Stefano Hengemühl kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Steffe Lenaerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Eulalio Bastian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in MORPH's zone, Eliseo Pasqual stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Mambru came out of the goal and Eliseo Pasqual tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eulalio Bastian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffe Lenaerts in the 66th minute of play. Atilano Urtats kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Deportivo Mandiyu made a substitution. Zhu Bin Kun replaced Eliseo Pasqual. Ambrosio Estevez was slow to take the kick. During this time MORPH's players had a chance to rest. Anastasio Lluques made in the 91st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Deportivo Mandiyu's Honorato Sancho. In the 93rd minute, Steffe Lenaerts ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eulalio Bastian was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
