San Martìn:s Mauricio Sabino showed great skill when he stopped Babür Kongurtay:s penalty. In the 8th minute, Defensores de Belén's Babür Kongurtay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mauricio Sabino. Mauricio Sabino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Rius in the 12th minute of play forced Defensores de Belén's goalkeeper Caio Torrecillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match San Martìn got a corner. Defensores de Belén's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mario Santos ran over to the corner to take the kick. San Martìn's Mario Santos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Caio Torrecillas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Saul Rius managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Martìn's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Rius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caio Torrecillas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Babür Kongurtay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Mauricio Sabino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Saul Rius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mauricio Sabino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Babür Kongurtay in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Rius in the 36th minute of play forced Defensores de Belén's goalkeeper Caio Torrecillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Babür Kongurtay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Sabino having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Babür Kongurtay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores de Belén fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. The referee ignored San Martìn's protests and gave Aage Ulholm a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 played minutes San Martìn got a freekick which was hit by Aage Ulholm. When Betão Leite came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the San Martìn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Betão Leite couldn't finish the play. Betão Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Caio Torrecillas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Babür Kongurtay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Sabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Betão Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Torrecillas having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Defensores de Belén's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Nanu came free, but Caio Torrecillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The San Martìn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauricio Sabino should have stopped the shot. Babür Kongurtay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 played minutes San Martìn got a freekick which was hit by Aage Ulholm. Defensores de Belén's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
