The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's Carlos Alberto Nebbia got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Roland Delbridge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Aníbal Berger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Asiz Soon in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Roland Delbridge, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th minute Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo were awarded a corner. Joel Rodriguez went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Hernan Abancens almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Muchachos del 86's Roland Delbridge did a great save. Los Muchachos del 86's attentive Cristian Urtzi managed to snatch the ball when Javier Martínez made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. After 22 played minutes Los Muchachos del 86 got a freekick which was hit by Matias Aznar. Roland Delbridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Nebbia in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo were awarded a corner. Joel Rodriguez went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Los Muchachos del 86's goalie and right to Bartolo Rozarius. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Los Muchachos del 86's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 27th minute Carlos Alberto Nebbia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Delbridge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Alberto Nebbia in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roland Delbridge saved Los Muchachos del 86 from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Carlos Alberto Nebbia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roland Delbridge was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience was convinced that Carlos Alberto Nebbia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roland Delbridge was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo-Enrique Bochini in the 40th minute of play forced Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's goalkeeper Aníbal Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Alberto Nebbia was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Carlos Alberto Nebbia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Alberto Nebbia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Delbridge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute of the match, Donato Gonzalez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Roland Delbridge saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Roland Delbridge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Aníbal Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asiz Soon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Donato Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roland Delbridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Gonzalez in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute Ricardo-Enrique Bochini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aníbal Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo defense, Saverio Brion kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aníbal Berger. The Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aníbal Berger should have stopped the shot. Los Muchachos del 86 made a substitution. Fabio Bencivenni replaced Ricardo-Enrique Bochini. The Los Muchachos del 86 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's performance. The match ended with a win for Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo.
