Romulo Florian had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Domingos Ted's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 23rd minute Grupo Fonte were awarded a corner. Domingos Ted went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Domingos Ted got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Romulo Florian quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ezequiel Aguirre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grupo Fonte's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Aguirre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romulo Florian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iivo Uitto charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
