In the 14thth minute of the game Victorio Cortez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lanus's Maximo Berto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorio Cortez in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximo Berto saved Lanus from getting behind. AL TOKE FC's Denis Gilabert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieguito Armando in the 17th minute of play. Anıl Ege Cebir kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Dieguito Armando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Gilabert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of AL TOKE FC booed when Lanus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anıl Ege Cebir didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, AL TOKE FC's Victorio Cortez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximo Berto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Denis Gilabert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieguito Armando in the 38th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Lanus's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Cortez came free, but Maximo Berto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Evelio Blasi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximo Berto. Lanus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evelio Blasi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorio Cortez made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Cortez in the 59th minute of play forced Lanus's goalkeeper Maximo Berto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 played minutes Lanus got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Bauza. In the 64th minute, Dieguito Armando made a precise shot to the right of Denis Gilabert. AL TOKE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Dieguito Armando fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lanus's protests and gave Dieguito Armando a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes Lanus got a freekick which was hit by Dieguito Armando. Dieguito Armando who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Denis Gilabert when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 70th match minute, AL TOKE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Shepherd to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of AL TOKE FC booed when Lanus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Bauza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, AL TOKE FC's Victorio Cortez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximo Berto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Maximo Berto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Blasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorio Cortez in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximo Berto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 82 minutes, Sergio Dimas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lanus and the AL TOKE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lanus's Sergio Dimas got a free kick in the 82nd minute. AL TOKE FC made a substitution. David Gaizkine replaced Evelio Blasi. A collision led to Lanus getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Sergio Dimas hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Victorio Cortez managed to get in a good position for a shot. AL TOKE FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorio Cortez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Berto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Horacio Tab fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lanus's protests and gave Horacio Tab a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th match minute, Lanus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Tab to maneuver through the defense. Anıl Ege Cebir hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 91st match minute, Lanus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Bauza to maneuver through the defense. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, AL TOKE FC's Victorio Cortez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximo Berto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AL TOKE FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
