When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Christian Servando took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Boran Benlioğlu to make any attempt to save it. Boran Benlioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Servando, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Boran Benlioğlu made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Christian Servando sent off a good shot on target.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Brophy in the 54th minute of play forced Deportivo Merlo's goalkeeper Boran Benlioğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During this time Deportivo Merlo's players had a chance to rest. 74 minutes into the game, Christian Servando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Boran Benlioğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Argon's Yaya Toure was substituted for Christian Servando. Espinoza Castañares hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Boran Benlioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaya Toure in the 88th minute of the match. Yaya Toure took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boran Benlioğlu. Boran Benlioğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1.
