Zhao Ran Ming made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ekber Cingöz in the 9th minute. After having played for 12 minutes, Jeremias Mark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Medievales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Mark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norberto Herena hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute of the match Sergio Cesaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eliseo Pepillo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Deportivo Medievales's Zhao Ran Ming played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radowit Dudek in the 20th minute of play. Nereo Karmel charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nereo Karmel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Nereo Karmel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmitas Alem's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Karmel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zhao Ran Ming breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Palmitas Alem's Eliseo Pepillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Mark in the 31st minute of play. In the 40th minute Jeremias Mark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Pepillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Deportivo Medievales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nino Manfredi to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Deportivo Medievales were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ekber Cingöz was the one to do the kick off. Zhao Ran Ming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekber Cingöz in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Herena in the 53rd minute of play forced Deportivo Medievales's goalkeeper Zhao Ran Ming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Radowit Dudek heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmitas Alem's goalkeeper Eliseo Pepillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Deportivo Medievales's Jeremias Mark dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Palmitas Alem's zone, Sergio Cesaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Pepillo came out of the goal and Sergio Cesaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute Sergio Cesaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Pepillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Melquiades Joseph in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Deportivo Medievales's Tomas Sazon. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Jeremias Mark took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Eliseo Pepillo to make any attempt to save it. Jeremias Mark took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseo Pepillo. Eliseo Pepillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Eliseo Pepillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Mark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Karmel in the 81st minute of play forced Deportivo Medievales's goalkeeper Zhao Ran Ming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute of the match Deportivo Medievales got a corner. Palmitas Alem's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eleuterio Ovando ran over to the corner to take the kick. Deportivo Medievales's Eleuterio Ovando was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eliseo Pepillo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 91st minute, Deportivo Medievales's Jeremias Mark dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. After a rather tough play, Palmitas Alem's Ekber Cingöz got a free kick in the 96th minute.
