But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eleuterio Dantae couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Black Mamba booed when Orgullo Multicolor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Black Mamba's goalkeeper Artemio Kismi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnulfo Emenon. The audience was convinced that Ivan Filipo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Bautista was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Cristian Bautista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 96 played minutes Orgullo Multicolor got a freekick which was hit by Paulão de Queirós. The Black Mamba supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Black Mamba would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
