When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Golo Doro put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Saul Llope. Federico Lucero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Saul Llope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AC Milan's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
