The corner led Triunvirato FC's Adolfo Mendez to fire away a dangerous shot which Sharma Abbondanzieri despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Victorio Gora notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of CAYASTA II's Sharma Abbondanzieri. Sharma Abbondanzieri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sharma Abbondanzieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Mendez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Adolfo Mendez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sharma Abbondanzieri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Sharma Abbondanzieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Sharma Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Mendez in the 38th minute of play. Artemio Lamberto made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Francisco Nesto sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute, Guido Leizarraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artemio Lamberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herminio Argider's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Elpidio Frutos struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Sharma Abbondanzieri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Triunvirato FC. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Frutos made a kick off. Adolfo Mendez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sharma Abbondanzieri having to make a save. The supporters of Triunvirato FC booed when CAYASTA II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Naldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artemio Lamberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Leizarraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Paul Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Lamberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artemio Lamberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Leizarraga in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Guido Leizarraga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CAYASTA II fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Sharma Abbondanzieri made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Uriel Rios sent off a good shot on target. If Elpidio Frutos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CAYASTA II's Aquiles Meo was substituted for Herminio Argider. Guido Leizarraga scored 2-4 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artemio Lamberto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute, Paul Batistuta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CAYASTA II fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. After 93 minutes of play, CAYASTA II's Aquiles Meo made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artemio Lamberto was left in no man's land by his defense there!
