Jonny Hansson ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonny Hansson scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Loi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes in the game Álvaro Dracena did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Raul Maiorga. 18 minutes into the match, Jonny Hansson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Deportivo Villa's Leonardo Loi. Leonardo Loi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonardo Loi came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Società Vigata Calcio's Jonny Hansson. But to his dismay, Jonny Hansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Società Vigata Calcio's Ruben Astigar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Álvaro Dracena in the 26 minute of the game. In the 27th minute Jonny Hansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Loi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute Società Vigata Calcio were awarded a corner. Carter Picozzi went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Fabricio Larpe drilling the ball in to score 0-4 behind Deportivo Villa's goalkeeper. In the 32nd minute, Jonny Hansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Società Vigata Calcio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 36th minute, Vito Corleone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jonny Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute Jonny Hansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Loi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Enzo Fernandez in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Società Vigata Calcio's Ruben Astigar. After the first half Società Vigata Calcio were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jonny Hansson made the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Loi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonny Hansson in the 52nd minute of play. Società Vigata Calcio were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Deportivo Villa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carter Picozzi took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Fabricio Larpe managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Vito Corleone came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Società Vigata Calcio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vito Corleone couldn't finish the play. Deportivo Villa's Leonardo Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonny Hansson in the 58th minute of play. Jonny Hansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Loi having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Deportivo Villa's goalkeeper Leonardo Loi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonny Hansson. Leonardo Loi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Hansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76 minutes, José Luis Cuciuffo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Società Vigata Calcio and the Deportivo Villa players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Società Vigata Calcio:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo Villa:s goal. Leonardo Loi was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Jonny Hansson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonny Hansson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. Leonardo Loi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Hansson in the 90th minute of the match. Società Vigata Calcio's Carter Picozzi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leonardo Loi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 93 minutes into the game, Vito Corleone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Società Vigata Calcio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Villa the free kick. After a rather tough play, Società Vigata Calcio's Vito Corleone got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Leonardo Loi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonny Hansson went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score.
