Bai Jian Chen came out of the goal and Bernardo Peyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Buenos y Malos Ayres's Arnulfo Beltran got a free kick in the 13th minute. Bernardo Peyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bai Jian Chen having to interfere. Eliseo Tolino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Theobald in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute Michonario were awarded a corner. Urbano Iliana went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Silvano Xabier heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a rather tough play, Michonario's Bernardo Peyo got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute Ramon Gómez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bai Jian Chen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Arnulfo Beltran put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eliseo Tolino. After a defensive mix-up in Michonario's zone, Hugo van der Struijk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Tolino came out of the goal and Hugo van der Struijk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseo Tolino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Theobald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorenzo Clementi was the one to do the kick off. Lorenzo Clementi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnulfo Beltran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliseo Tolino having to make a save. Michonario were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Buenos y Malos Ayres's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Urbano Iliana took the corner. Michonario's Eliseo Tolino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Theobald in the 77th minute of play. Buenos y Malos Ayres's Danilo Dubardo was substituted for Bonifacio Lorien. Buenos y Malos Ayres's Bernabe Llorenc was substituted for Anthony Catucci. Buenos y Malos Ayres's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vasco Olarticoechea in the 79th minute. It was a well-played corner which Danilo Dubardo managed to volley towards the net. Urbano Iliana ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Theobald in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseo Tolino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Etxeberri got free with Bai Jian Chen in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Theobald blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliseo Tolino having to make a save. In the 90th minute Paulo Theobald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Tolino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Tolino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Theobald went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Bai Jian Chen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Gregory, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
