The coaching staff of La Mitad Mas Uno protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anibal Rami had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Avellaneda FC booed when La Mitad Mas Uno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Rami didn't get a good kick on the ball. The La Mitad Mas Uno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sálvio Ramalho should have stopped the shot. 48 minutes into the game, Edgardo Silvanito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The La Mitad Mas Uno supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Avellaneda FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Avellaneda FC.
