A collision led to Crosmayo FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ulysses Nogueira hit a great ball. Albano Illart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Umberto Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Umberto Gonçalves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alonzo Cordarin was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Silvano Pagomari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Inocente in the 26th minute of the match. Crosmayo FC's Alonzo Cordarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Gonçalves in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Armando Massa made a precise shot to the right of Alonzo Cordarin. Crosmayo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 41st minute, Crosmayo FC's Arnaldo Inocente ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silvano Pagomari. Silvano Pagomari yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Umberto Gonçalves in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alonzo Cordarin saved Crosmayo FC from getting behind. A collision led to Faro Norte MARPLA getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Romeo Leobardo hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teofil Gierlach to make the kick off. Silvano Pagomari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Gierlach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute of the match Crosmayo FC got a corner. Faro Norte MARPLA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Timoteo Etor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Crosmayo FC's Domingo Hartz getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofil Gierlach in the 58th minute of play forced Faro Norte MARPLA's goalkeeper Silvano Pagomari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Faro Norte MARPLA's goal looked a bit too open when Teofil Gierlach came free, but Silvano Pagomari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Massa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alonzo Cordarin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Crosmayo FC booed when Faro Norte MARPLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Greg Heurtaux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Umberto Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Alonzo Cordarin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvano Pagomari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofil Gierlach in the 96th minute of the match. Although Crosmayo FC had been in control for most of the match, Faro Norte MARPLA still came away with the win.
