The supporters of Juventud Antoniana booed when Rosario Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Txerran didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 minutes of play, Rosario Central's Víctor Cuesta made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomero Shantala was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th match minute, Rosario Central was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Txerran to maneuver through the defense. Alvaro Urre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lobo Lobo in the 37th minute. Zeledon Sindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eugenio Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Víctor Cuesta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Baldomero Shantala. Eugenio Abeitia charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugenio Abeitia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eugenio Abeitia kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Baldomero Shantala was a little too slow when Erubiel Fagildo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 2-5. A collision led to Juventud Antoniana getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Trayan Davchev hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 3-5 when Trayan Davchev sped through Rosario Central's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alvaro Urre.
