In the 8th minute of the match Juventud Antoniana got a corner. Enroque's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicasio Demario ran over to the corner to take the kick. Quintén Quezada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lobo Lobo came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Quintén Quezada could save by the left post. 24 minutes into the game, Enroque's Nicodim Donose nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomero Shantala made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 48th minute Cazimir Ghiciușca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Shantala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimiro Aurre got free with Baldomero Shantala in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cazimir Ghiciușca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Baldomero Shantala when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Enroque walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
