Agustin Cortez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Vieja Guarida FC. Agustin Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Quinteros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Central Argentino FC booed when La Vieja Guarida FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Diegotxe didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Chale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Apolo Erroman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Chesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Central Argentino FC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after La Vieja Guarida FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ignacy Latocha took the corner. In the 61st match minute, La Vieja Guarida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliksas Obrikis to maneuver through the defense.
