After some careless play in the AZURDUY F.C. defense, Gavino Frantzes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodosio Iigo. The AZURDUY F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodosio Iigo should have stopped the shot. Tom Hermansson struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Julian Guillelme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AZURDUY F.C.. After having played for 32 minutes, Ruperto Matei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lapachito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruperto Matei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gavino Frantzes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Teodosio Iigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to AZURDUY F.C. getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Moises Isauro hit a great ball. Teodosio Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Matei in the 42nd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

AZURDUY F.C.'s Teodosio Iigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marty Simpson in the 55th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tom Hermansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julian Guillelme was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Lapachito's Julian Guillelme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Lapachito from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Frantzes in the 63rd minute of play forced AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Teodosio Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodosio Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Frantzes in the 64th minute of play. Tom Hermansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tom Hermansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Julian Guillelme made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Llanos came free, but Teodosio Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tom Hermansson came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the AZURDUY F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tom Hermansson couldn't finish the play. Tom Hermansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julian Guillelme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lapachito's players were relieved.
