In the 4th minute of the game Parker Blattman made a throw-in which Pablo Chumo played forward. Lino Edorta might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anthony Di Giandomenico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Edorta ran back to his position shaking his head. Leo Gelmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Micael in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes in the game Parker Blattman did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Pablo Chumo. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lima FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amador Vachon was slow to take the kick. During this time Pegaso's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Pegaso's Amador Vachon to fire away a dangerous shot which Anthony Di Giandomenico despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Pegaso's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Micael came free, but Leo Gelmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Ioritz struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Anthony Di Giandomenico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pegaso. Lima FC's Anthony Di Giandomenico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efren Dobale in the 21st minute of play. Anthony Di Giandomenico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Edorta in the 24th minute of the match. Parker Blattman kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Lino Edorta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anthony Di Giandomenico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Lino Edorta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anthony Di Giandomenico, 1-0. Anthony Di Giandomenico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Edorta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Edorta got free with Anthony Di Giandomenico in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pegaso's Lino Edorta got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lima FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lino Edorta 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Lino Edorta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45thth minute of the game Lino Edorta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lima FC's Anthony Di Giandomenico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efren Dobale in the 46th minute of play forced Lima FC's goalkeeper Anthony Di Giandomenico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Lino Edorta made the kick off in the second half. Efren Dobale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anthony Di Giandomenico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute of the match Pegaso got a corner. Lima FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amador Vachon ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Nemesio Ekaitz got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-0. 53 minutes into the match. Lino Edorta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Pegaso's Lino Edorta in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lima FC's goalie prevented a goal. Anthony Di Giandomenico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Lozano in the 58th minute of play. Anthony Di Giandomenico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Edorta, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Angel Admon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Gelmiro having to interfere. Anthony Di Giandomenico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Lozano in the 69th minute of play. After 71 minutes of play, Pegaso's Lino Edorta made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anthony Di Giandomenico was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute, Angel Admon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pegaso made a substitution. Alfred Zbikowski replaced Nemesio Ekaitz. If Lino Edorta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Edorta in the 86th minute of play forced Lima FC's goalkeeper Anthony Di Giandomenico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lima FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pegaso.
