The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Concordia's zone, Reşat Sönmezalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustin Ereinotz came out of the goal and Reşat Sönmezalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benê Salgado in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustin Ereinotz saved Concordia from getting behind. Agustin Ereinotz made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Benê Salgado sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Concordia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benê Salgado was slow to take the kick. During this time Aguilas Rojas FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 12th minute, Celestino Herena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustin Ereinotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reşat Sönmezalp in the 19th minute of play. Concordia's Agustin Ereinotz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Concordia from getting a goal against them. Omar Dolcet hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th match minute, Aguilas Rojas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Herena to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Concordia's Agustin Ereinotz got control of the ball when Benê Salgado tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute Aguilas Rojas FC were awarded a corner. Benê Salgado went to the cornerflag to take it. Aguilas Rojas FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benê Salgado in the 42nd minute. Domingos Satordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Gar, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dante Hondo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Domingos Satordi managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Concordia's Dante Hondo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Aguilas Rojas FC's Domingos Satordi got control of the ball when Antonio Gar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Hondo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Domingos Satordi made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Concordia's Dante Hondo got a free kick in the 61st minute. Domingos Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Hondo in the 70th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Concordia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Aguilas Rojas FC.
