The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Martin Goren's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luciano Abastas firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quentin Ladra in the 5th minute of play forced Falconara Albanese's goalkeeper Eliseo Cefero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Abastas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaarlo Menem, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Falconara Albanese got a corner. Boldenona's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arsenio Eufrasio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Arsenio Eufrasio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Boldenona's Luciano Abastas did a great save. In the 19th match minute, Boldenona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Emil Hansson to maneuver through the defense. Falconara Albanese's Eliseo Cefero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kiarash Bocchio in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Boldenona getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Toko Kubala hit a great ball. Luciano Abastas made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Martin Goren sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the game, Falconara Albanese's Martin Goren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luciano Abastas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 28 minutes into the game, Boldenona's Quentin Ladra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseo Cefero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Eliseo Cefero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dániel Mayer in the 30th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Jacinto Loi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorio Firman to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaarlo Menem in the 51st minute of play forced Boldenona's goalkeeper Luciano Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseo Cefero made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Isidro Cordarrell sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dráuzio Pontes in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Abastas saved Boldenona from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, Dráuzio Pontes notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Boldenona's Luciano Abastas. Luciano Abastas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
