In the 9th minute, Lauro Moreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Chusca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Oscar Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Serafin Eate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Veto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lauro Moreira's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Club Atletico Chusca's Serafin Eate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Goito in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Carolo Goito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serafin Eate was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Olgierd Jazwiec in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atletico Chusca's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Olgierd Jazwiec put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Serafin Eate. Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Olgierd Jazwiec got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Club Atletico Chusca players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rocky Balboa F.C. were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olgierd Jazwiec was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Lauro Moreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Veto. Rocky Balboa F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lauro Moreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Oscar Furlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serafin Eate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Lauro Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Veto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atletico Chusca's Serafin Eate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Furlan in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the Rocky Balboa F.C. defense, Lauro Moreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Veto. The Rocky Balboa F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Veto should have stopped the shot. Club Atletico Chusca made a substitution. Alberto Confesor replaced Herman Arvidsson. Serafin Eate made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Olgierd Jazwiec sent off a good shot on target. When Club Atletico Chusca's Lauro Moreira in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rocky Balboa F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Torjus Rønneberg kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Club Atletico Chusca were victorious despite being under pressure from Rocky Balboa F.C. for much of the match.
