The audience was convinced that Dario Hussain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rosendo Gitano was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Maravilha in the 14th minute of play forced Leon Platense's goalkeeper Ruperto Rainerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruperto Rainerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the game, Dadá Maravilha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ruperto Rainerio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dario Hussain struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Rosendo Gitano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leon Platense. A collision led to C.A Huracan getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Leszek Ewertowski hit a great ball. Adan Menendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Rosendo Gitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timoteo Machado to strike the kick off in the second half. Adan Menendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute Elvio Panpili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A Huracan's Fausto Elixio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Celso Havier, made in the 64th minute of the game. Ruperto Rainerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruperto Rainerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Panpili, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute of the match C.A Huracan got a corner. Leon Platense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elvio Panpili ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Machado got free with Ruperto Rainerio in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of C.A Huracan booed when Leon Platense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaas Alberts didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.A Huracan's Angelo Mosen was substituted for Sharma Otamendi. After 82 played minutes Leon Platense got a freekick which was hit by Klaas Alberts. The referee gave Leon Platense a penalty, 85 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hernán Leandro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of C.A Huracan's Rosendo Gitano. 3-1. Rosendo Gitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernán Leandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Panpili in the 89th minute of play forced Leon Platense's goalkeeper Ruperto Rainerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, C.A Huracan's Timoteo Machado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruperto Rainerio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Hernán Leandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Gitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruperto Rainerio made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Timoteo Machado sent off a good shot on target. Ruperto Rainerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Panpili in the 98th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Elvio Panpili got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ruperto Rainerio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. There was no doubt that Leon Platense were the better team. Leon Platense's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
