In the 17th minute Erubiel Urtats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Fiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Jimeno Berdoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL FIRULETE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Clemente Cordera kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 32 played minutes EL FIRULETE got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Endura. 37 minutes into the match, ☣ ☠ Ᏸɭนę Gђ๏ຮϮຮ ☠ ☣'s goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Barto came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute of the game Clemente Cordera made a throw-in which Froilan Hulberto played forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Monclús got free with Hermengildo Fiz in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to ☣ ☠ Ᏸɭนę Gђ๏ຮϮຮ ☠ ☣ getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Edgardo Torres hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erubiel Urtats stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Froilan Hulberto made in the 58th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Guillermo Monclús however managed to control. Vicente Pelayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Orlando Gatti having to interfere. Hermengildo Fiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Urtats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kader Wing came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the EL FIRULETE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kader Wing couldn't finish the play. Erubiel Urtats's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermengildo Fiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Hermengildo Fiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Monclús, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Erubiel Urtats made a precise shot to the right of Hermengildo Fiz. EL FIRULETE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Hermengildo Fiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mei Jian De's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Gerardo Alonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Hugo Orlando Gatti made a huge save. EL FIRULETE's Hermengildo Fiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Monclús in the 93rd minute of play. Gerardo Alonso took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Orlando Gatti. Hugo Orlando Gatti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. ☣ ☠ Ᏸɭนę Gђ๏ຮϮຮ ☠ ☣'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
