But to his dismay, Ladislao Bertran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 10th match minute, Brujas KV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frits Elhart to maneuver through the defense. Primitivo Fernanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Lehen, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 13 played minutes Brujas KV got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Roso. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ladislao Bertran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Bertran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Grau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boca Juniors's Primitivo Fernanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Rios in the 20th minute of play. Adolfo Grau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Corrêa in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, David Rios made a precise shot to the right of Primitivo Fernanco. Boca Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Brujas KV getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Apolo Abancens hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Jonathan-Matias Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Grau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute David Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Fernanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Fernanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Lehen in the 36th minute of play. Primitivo Fernanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Lehen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Baldomero Lehen notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Boca Juniors's Primitivo Fernanco. Primitivo Fernanco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcin Mietus hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Brujas KV's Corneliu Hurezan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Dinei Corrêa hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Brujas KV made a substitution. Cristian Seber replaced Tincho Breide. Brujas KV's Jonathan Orlandus was substituted for Baldomero Lehen. In the 48th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinei Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 49 minutes, Corneliu Hurezan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brujas KV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corneliu Hurezan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Orlandus in the 54th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Primitivo Fernanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Jonathan Orlandus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Fernanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Fernanco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilio Ihintza in the 60th minute. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Primitivo Fernanco got control of the ball when Emilio Ihintza tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Ihintza came free, but Primitivo Fernanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute of the match, Emilio Ihintza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Primitivo Fernanco was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Adolfo Grau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pepito Santalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Boca Juniors's Primitivo Fernanco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. Primitivo Fernanco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harry Styles in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Primitivo Fernanco got control of the ball when Corneliu Hurezan tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Rios hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute Jonathan Orlandus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Fernanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Boca Juniors fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Brujas KV were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
