Juniors FC's Ospin Vila quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Lucio Quilo fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guns And Roses's protests and gave Lucio Quilo a yellow card for diving instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Guns And Roses's Ago Tramp was substituted for Anibal Rubio. Guns And Roses's Lucio Quilo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ramiro Oliverio in the 53 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Guns And Roses's Lucio Quilo got a free kick in the 56th minute. The corner led Juniors FC's Cayetano Hunfredo to fire away a dangerous shot which Eustacio Misael despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Juniors FC from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute, Uriel Isias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eustacio Misael was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 71 minutes into the game, one of Juniors FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The Juniors FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
