Club Atlético Huracán's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Venancio Victoro ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Tosun Paşa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Club Atlético Huracán's Ignacio Di Stasi got control of the ball when Tosun Paşa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute, Tosun Paşa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ignacio Di Stasi. The goal made the score 4-0. Javier Tono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Cordarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vaqueteros FC's Tosun Paşa got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Vaqueteros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Cordarin came free, but Javier Tono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Cordarin was the one to do the kick off.
