When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Gerardo Abeitia put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luciano Ferran. A collision led to Sαηgrε Azuɭ getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jonas Ordono hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's goalkeeper Luciano Ferran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rögnvaldur Bjarmarsson. Dalmacio Llorian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Ferran having to interfere. Luciano Ferran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's goalkeeper Luciano Ferran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Cordarrel. 27 minutes into the game, Pepe Argento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Leonel Cefero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sαηgrε Azuɭ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chamaicó.
