The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, one of Red Lions Of Hell:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Antonis Liolidis had in the 4thth minute some difficulties stopping Mauro Boselli's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Red Lions Of Hell defense, Mauro Boselli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonis Liolidis. The Red Lions Of Hell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonis Liolidis should have stopped the shot. Antonis Liolidis made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Brooks Willison sent off a good shot on target. Ismael Vellito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florinio Hernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A collision led to Red Lions Of Hell getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Mariano Raphael hit a great ball. Réda Kolb's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonis Liolidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Shuspendemo got a corner. Red Lions Of Hell's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Séamus Babasidis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Red Lions Of Hell's Antonis Liolidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Rivas in the 26th minute of play. Antonis Liolidis was a little too slow when Réda Kolb got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-1. After 34 minutes, Réda Kolb made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Red Lions Of Hell's Antonis Liolidis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Mariano Raphael had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Vellito. Shuspendemo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Raphael was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florinio Hernandez to make the kick off. 52 minutes in the game Reynaldo Herauso did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Leo Izel. Mariano Raphael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Ismael Vellito made a huge save. After 57 minutes of play, Shuspendemo's Réda Kolb made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonis Liolidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Shuspendemo made a substitution. Sebastian Tercero replaced Silverio Francho. Shuspendemo made a substitution. The supporters of Shuspendemo booed when Red Lions Of Hell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Herauso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonis Liolidis came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Shuspendemo's Réda Kolb. But to his dismay, Réda Kolb quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. In the 66th minute, Brooks Willison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Réda Kolb's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonis Liolidis was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Antonis Liolidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Réda Kolb, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Réda Kolb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 81st minute Réda Kolb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonis Liolidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Red Lions Of Hell's Florinio Hernandez got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Antonis Liolidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Kepa in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Shuspendemo's Réda Kolb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonis Liolidis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. In the 95th minute, Venancio Kepa made a precise shot to the right of Antonis Liolidis. Red Lions Of Hell's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Red Lions Of Hell players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Shuspendemo.
