Giovanni Simeone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Florentino Herauso made a huge save. After 45 played minutes Santa Lucia de Merlo got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Llorienzo. Florentino Herauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Simeone in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young was substituted for Polo Quinteros. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for M. Agus Young to strike the kick off in the second half. M. Agus Young blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roman Diaz having to make a save. Roman Diaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from M. Agus Young, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. M. Agus Young's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Diaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when M. Agus Young got free with Roman Diaz in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santa Lucia de Merlo made a substitution. Aldo Hartz replaced Benjamin Lehoi. In the 78th minute, Eusebio Tallia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florentino Herauso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Club Atlético Ramadita's Ricardo Frans was substituted for Fermin Ortle. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Tallia in the 82nd minute of play. Florentino Herauso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusebio Tallia's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Eusebio Tallia struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Florentino Herauso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Ramadita. A collision led to Santa Lucia de Merlo getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Nils Myhr hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Alejo Suero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th match minute, Club Atlético Ramadita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Tallia to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Ramadita's Alejo Suero got a free kick in the 95th minute. Santa Lucia de Merlo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
