With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Bladi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rene Flor took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Bladi. Jonas Bladi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Octavio Efraim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Stevie Gerrard fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Bull Crystallis's protests and gave Stevie Gerrard a yellow card for diving instead. Stevie Gerrard hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Red Bull Crystallis's goalkeeper Octavio Efraim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulises Gartzen. Octavio Efraim was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and 김 한 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 김 한 really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After the first half Red Bull Crystallis were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Alejo Bastiaro made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Red Bull Crystallis's William Bodin. When Red Bull Crystallis's Rene Flor in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After taking down the ball on Red Bull Crystallis's corner William Bodin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonas Bladi quite easily take care of the ball. When Red Bull Crystallis's Rene Flor in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
