The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Eric Oltean made the kick off in the second half. Cipriano Firmin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Berasko, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fan Xing Zhou in the 80th minute of play forced Atlético Nacional's goalkeeper Angelo Distiratsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Pablo Martinez lined in a short shot 3-2 behind a frustrated Angelo Distiratsu.
