In the 6th minute Honorio Justin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Efraim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Efraim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Justin, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. A collision led to Atletico Calamar Saavedra getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Tiburcio Llorian hit a great ball. The long shot by William Bodin in the 10th minute really tested Bonifacio Naldo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cipriano Sustrai took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavio Efraim. Octavio Efraim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Octavio Efraim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Sustrai in the 20th minute of play. Red Bull Crystallis's Octavio Efraim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Justin in the 23rd minute of play. Horymír Arnošt made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fabio Hernando however managed to control. Bonifacio Naldo was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Rene Flor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rene Flor really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Octavio Efraim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Justin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabio Hernando made a kick off. Fabio Hernando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Octavio Efraim made a huge save. After 56 minutes of play, Red Bull Crystallis's Rene Flor made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bonifacio Naldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the match, Red Bull Crystallis's goalkeeper Octavio Efraim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Hernando. Octavio Efraim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Sustrai in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Justin in the 67th minute of play forced Red Bull Crystallis's goalkeeper Octavio Efraim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Red Bull Crystallis's Octavio Efraim got control of the ball when Fabio Hernando tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Red Bull Crystallis's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Sustrai came free, but Octavio Efraim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavio Efraim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Sustrai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Red Bull Crystallis made a substitution. Federico Arnas replaced Rene Flor. Federico Arnas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bonifacio Naldo having to make a save. Federico Arnas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bonifacio Naldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute Red Bull Crystallis were awarded a corner. Gualterio Castulo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Red Bull Crystallis's Germain Poli getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Federico Arnas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Federico Arnas took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bonifacio Naldo. Bonifacio Naldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Red Bull Crystallis fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atletico Calamar Saavedra had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
