Dražen Ladić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Belmiro Arruda went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 41 minutes into the game, Valentin Oxarra threw the ball into play from the sideline. Deportivo Tachito's Ubaldo Inautzi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Elias Selatse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Cordero's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Marcelo Cordero took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elias Selatse. Elias Selatse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 55th minute, Marcelo Cordero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Tachito's Elias Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Cordero in the 56th minute of play. Deportivo Tachito made a substitution. Claudiu Niculescu replaced Belmiro Arruda. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Valentin Oxarra managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Saul Beila in the 61 minute of the game. But to his dismay, Marcelo Cordero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Dražen Ladić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Niculescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Marcelo Cordero got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT made a substitution. Haroldo Alfonso replaced Marcelo Cordero. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Emilio Lizar was substituted for Andre Vanhove. Dražen Ladić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Hustaz in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, Fabio Hustaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dražen Ladić was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Dražen Ladić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Hustaz in the 90th minute of the match. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Conor Gallagher quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ubaldo Inautzi, made in the 93rd minute of the game. The Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Deportivo Tachito's performance. The match ended with a win for Deportivo Tachito.
