AC LeX Luthor were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Enhebrator FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zeledon Savion took the corner. 14 minutes into the match, Bernard Janiczek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fulgencio Eyague. AC LeX Luthor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernard Janiczek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Fulgencio Eyague stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernard Janiczek's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Rodion Nikitin came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bonifacio Baumer could save by the left post. After 22 played minutes Zeledon Savion rounded Enhebrator FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Bonifacio Baumer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Yepes in the 26th minute. Mario Yepes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bonifacio Baumer came out and tried to block the shot, but Mario Yepes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 26th minute. The supporters of AC LeX Luthor booed when Enhebrator FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Quin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Zeledon Savion sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Bonifacio Baumer threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Zeledon Savion this time. With a little luck, Enhebrator FC's Bonifacio Baumer got control of the ball when Aristide Ciuvică tried to sneak it across the goal line.

A collision led to AC LeX Luthor getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Aristide Ciuvică hit a great ball. In the 55thth minute of the game Bernard Janiczek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bonifacio Baumer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Savion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Enhebrator FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aristide Ciuvică came free, but Bonifacio Baumer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AC LeX Luthor's Hermenegildo Ventura was substituted for Zeledon Savion. Enhebrator FC's Mitt Back was substituted for Pavlos Papageorgakos. Enhebrator FC's Salvador Procopio was substituted for Sebastian Veron. A sloppy throw-in by Modesto Jaunzuria in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Enhebrator FC's Ernesto Mogel. The audience was convinced that Rodion Nikitin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bonifacio Baumer was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Salvador Procopio took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Eyague. Fulgencio Eyague dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Enhebrator FC's Bonifacio Baumer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Oriche in the 88th minute of play. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dries van Veldhuizen in the 90th minute of play. Bonifacio Baumer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peep Pronk, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The Enhebrator FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Enhebrator FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
