Máximo Kirchner was extremely unlucky when he, in the 4th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Wieslaw Szkaradek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcos Ranolfo. Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Máximo Kirchner put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marcos Ranolfo. Estudiantes de América made a substitution. Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marsilam Sangaji in the 92nd minute of play. After 95 minutes of play, Unidad de Matanza's Marsilam Sangaji made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Ranolfo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Unidad de Matanza fans cheered their team off the field, for while Estudiantes de América had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
