The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Knighton FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of UWA Baglan:s goal. Fercos Finnegan had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Maddox Gale's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Knighton FC's Fercos Finnegan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siawn Closky in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Knighton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anwar Illingworth to maneuver through the defense. Rhychdir Collingsworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Maxen Ludden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Baudwin Avery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andras Hockensmith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fercos Finnegan having to interfere. If Siawn Closky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rhisiart Cottle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Maxen Ludden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Knighton FC booed when UWA Baglan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwawl Grubb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxen Ludden came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Knighton FC's Baudwin Avery. But to his dismay, Baudwin Avery quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After having played for 31 minutes, Baudwin Avery managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knighton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baudwin Avery was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maxen Ludden made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Baudwin Avery sent off a good shot on target. UWA Baglan's Maxen Ludden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save UWA Baglan from getting a goal against them.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baudwin Avery was the one to do the kick off. Siawn Closky sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Anwar Illingworth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andras Hockensmith got free with Fercos Finnegan in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andras Hockensmith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fercos Finnegan having to interfere. Gwawl Grubb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Fercos Finnegan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as UWA Baglan's Andras Hockensmith slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fercos Finnegan. That made the score 1-1 after 72 minutes of play. Fercos Finnegan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siawn Closky in the 83rd minute of play. If Baudwin Avery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UWA Baglan's Maxen Ludden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baudwin Avery in the 86th minute of play. A hard shot 90 in the game by Andras Hockensmith from a close distance when the talented Fercos Finnegan managed to make a qualified save. Knighton FC's players were relieved. Fercos Finnegan made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Andras Hockensmith sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Siawn Closky in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fercos Finnegan saved Knighton FC from getting behind. Baudwin Avery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Maxen Ludden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
