Llwydeu Jay didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when UWA Bridgend's Dewey Dell shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 15th minute, Dewey Dell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ifor Higgin hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Kent Lumpp took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gwallter Dale. Gwallter Dale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 24th minute of the match Ffowc Keele sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gwallter Dale skillfully saved the ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Kent Lumpp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UWA Bridgend's Gwallter Dale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gerallt Hailey hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Dewey Dell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ceri Jackson got free with Llwydeu Jay in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Llwydeu Jay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dewey Dell in the 39th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Yale Lamph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwallter Dale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Dewey Dell got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alwyn Holway's late challenge caught a Porthcawl Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alwyn Holway helped the player get up and apologised. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kent Lumpp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Llwydeu Jay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dewey Dell's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Porthcawl Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Dewey Dell came free, but Llwydeu Jay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceri Jackson in the 55th minute of play forced Porthcawl Utd's goalkeeper Llwydeu Jay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Peissawg Driscoll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sel Devany fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UWA Bridgend's protests and gave Sel Devany a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes UWA Bridgend got a freekick which was hit by Sel Devany. In the 70th minute, Porthcawl Utd's Kent Lumpp dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Yale Heanaghan's late challenge caught a Porthcawl Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yale Heanaghan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, UWA Bridgend was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yale Heanaghan to maneuver through the defense. Porthcawl Utd's Drystan Bowden shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gwallter Dale but with some difficulty. Ceri Jackson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dewey Dell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Dewey Dell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ceri Jackson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llwydeu Jay having to interfere.
