Spectators: 6793 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1793, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gwawl Knollys got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, UWA Bridgend's Reese Epperson got a free kick in the 5th minute. Lavaine Budge came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Caerleon FC's Gwawl Knollys. But to his dismay, Gwawl Knollys quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Gwawl Knollys managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caerleon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gwawl Knollys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lavaine Budge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute of the match Morthwyl Kay sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lavaine Budge skillfully saved the ball. Amhar Gill was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. UWA Bridgend's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 20 minutes into the match, UWA Bridgend's goal looked a bit too open when Gwawl Knollys came free, but Lavaine Budge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gwawl Knollys in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lavaine Budge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cairn Elkins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gwawl Knollys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lavaine Budge having to interfere. Lavaine Budge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gwawl Knollys's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amhar Gill in the 39th minute of play forced Caerleon FC's goalkeeper Tristram Copp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, UWA Bridgend's Andreas Latham got a free kick in the 46th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Caerleon FC's Selwyn Dorsett tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

In the 52nd minute, Andreas Latham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wren Haugh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristram Copp having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amhar Gill in the 55th minute of play forced Caerleon FC's goalkeeper Tristram Copp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of UWA Bridgend booed when Caerleon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cadeyrn Sorter didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Amhar Gill's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tristram Copp was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Wren Haugh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Caerleon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wren Haugh came free, but Tristram Copp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caerleon FC's Tristram Copp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wren Haugh in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of UWA Bridgend booed when Caerleon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Owein Chapman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tristram Copp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wren Haugh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 minutes of play, UWA Bridgend's Wren Haugh made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tristram Copp was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cairn Elkinss short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Lavaine Budge to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Llwyd Glennon kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Gwawl Knollys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lavaine Budge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amhar Gill struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Tristram Copp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Bridgend. In the 88th match minute, Caerleon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ardwyad Brent to maneuver through the defense. Elphin Loane took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tristram Copp. Caerleon FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lavaine Budge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwawl Knollys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Caerleon FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
