The crowd rose to their feet as LA Lakers FC's Gwyddno Ayer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rhys Wharfinger. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. Bartosz Zbydniewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kynon Lax, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aeddan Howker hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Rhys Wharfinger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anyon Jamison in the 15th minute. Vaddon Fry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Rhys Wharfinger made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, Gwyddno Ayer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rhys Wharfinger. Talgarth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gwyddno Ayer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Anyon Jamison blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rhys Wharfinger having to make a save. After having played for 25 minutes, Vaddon Fry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA Lakers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaddon Fry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 29 minutes, Arianwyn Herne mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talgarth and the LA Lakers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Talgarth getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Arianwyn Herne hit a great ball. Anyon Jamison could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Rhys Wharfinger made a huge save. In the 32nd minute LA Lakers FC were awarded a corner. Anyon Jamison went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led LA Lakers FC's Anyon Jamison to fire away a dangerous shot which Rhys Wharfinger despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rhys Wharfinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwyddno Ayer in the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, LA Lakers FC's Gwilym Haymonger got a free kick in the 40th minute. Rhys Wharfinger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anyon Jamison in the 46th minute. A collision led to LA Lakers FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Macsen Brahan hit a great ball. Bartosz Zbydniewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kynon Lax in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anyon Jamison made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vaddon Fry during the 54th minute. Rhys Wharfinger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Anyon Jamison's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rhys Wharfinger was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. A collision led to Talgarth getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Mordwywr Bowden hit a great ball. After 70 minutes of play, LA Lakers FC's Anyon Jamison made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rhys Wharfinger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gwyddno Ayer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anyon Jamison in the 74th minute of play forced Talgarth's goalkeeper Rhys Wharfinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rhys Wharfinger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gwyddno Ayer's late challenge caught a Talgarth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gwyddno Ayer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Talgarth booed when LA Lakers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwyddno Ayer didn't get a good kick on the ball. LA Lakers FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
