Bwlch Thatcher yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Gwyn Edington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Rhodri Hibberd took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Bwlch Thatcher to make any attempt to save it. In the 17th minute, Meurig Bourns made a precise shot to the right of Bwlch Thatcher. Rhyl FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rhodri Hibberd in the 22nd minute of play forced Rhyl FC's goalkeeper Bwlch Thatcher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bwlch Thatcher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maddox Bury in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute of the match, Rhodri Hibberd tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bwlch Thatcher saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rhyl FC's Bwlch Thatcher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rhodri Hibberd in the 30th minute of play. Rhyl FC's Bwlch Thatcher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Rhyl FC from getting a goal against them. Rhyl FC's Bwlch Thatcher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anyon Bissett in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 played minutes Rhyl FC got a freekick which was hit by Anfri Howe. Bwlch Thatcher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rhodri Hibberd in the 35th minute. Bwlch Thatcher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meurig Bourns in the 36th minute of the match. Meurig Bourns recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bwlch Thatcher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maddox Bury in the 39th minute. Bwlch Thatcher made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Meurig Bourns sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute, Meurig Bourns reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bwlch Thatcher. The goal made the score 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teregud Brien during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teregud Brien hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teregud Brien to make the kick off. Cai Brahan's late challenge caught a Rhyl FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cai Brahan helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of CPD Unedig Caerdydd:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rhyl FC:s goal. The referee gave Rhyl FC a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cedric Diamond, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CPD Unedig Caerdydd's Dillan Flower. 4-1. 56 minutes into the match, Meurig Bourns had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bwlch Thatcher. Rhyl FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Meurig Bourns was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Meurig Bourns scored 6-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bwlch Thatcher, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute, Anyon Bissett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bwlch Thatcher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maddox Bury, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of CPD Unedig Caerdydd booed when Rhyl FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dillus Johnson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Maddox Bury had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bwlch Thatcher. Rhyl FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maddox Bury was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. After some careless play in the Rhyl FC defense, Rhodri Hibberd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bwlch Thatcher. The Rhyl FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bwlch Thatcher should have stopped the shot. Bwlch Thatcher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meurig Bourns in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Rhyl FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maddox Bury came free, but Bwlch Thatcher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ren Flanders's late challenge caught a Rhyl FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ren Flanders helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute, Ren Flanders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bwlch Thatcher was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-1. Bwlch Thatcher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maddox Bury in the 98th minute of the match. Bwlch Thatcher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rhodri Hibberd, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute.
