When Ardwyad Farr came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the UWA Haverfordwest fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ardwyad Farr couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, Ardwyad Farr dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mabon Keelan, 2-0. 30 minutes into the game, Tremayne Lamph was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neath's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Haverfordwest the free kick. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Neath! 33 minutes into the match, Neath's goal looked a bit too open when Ardwyad Farr came free, but Mabon Keelan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Aglovale Bellew hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bors Allard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rhett Berry in the 43rd minute of play. Berth Ammon hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Sayer Hitchcock hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Tremayne Gibb had several of the Neath's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 46 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Mabon Keelan as he didn't even see the shot coming. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Collen Forsyth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mabon Keelan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ardwyad Farr's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Tremayne Gibb struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Mabon Keelan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Haverfordwest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ardwyad Farr in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mabon Keelan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Syvwlch Frisby lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Neath! Mabon Keelan had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Addolgar Andrew's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tremayne Gibb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mabon Keelan having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, UWA Haverfordwest's Ardwyad Farr sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mabon Keelan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, UWA Haverfordwest's Tremayne Gibb sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mabon Keelan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Ardwyad Farr sped through Neath's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mabon Keelan. Mabon Keelan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tremayne Gibb, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Rhett Berry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Bors Allard made a huge save. In the 92nd minute Ardwyad Farr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mabon Keelan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ardwyad Farr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mabon Keelan having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. UWA Haverfordwest had won after a very even match.
